Overview

Keeping your listing fresh and accurate is one of the easiest ways to get more bookings and better reviews on Traclet. Whether you're updating your photos, adjusting pricing, or changing availability, everything can be managed directly from your dashboard in just a few steps. This guide walks you through everything you can edit and how to do it properly.

Accessing your listing editor

To begin editing your listing:

  1. Log in to your Traclet account.
  2. Navigate to your Dashboard.
  3. Click on Listings.
  4. Select the listing you want to update.
  5. Click on Edit Listing.

Once inside, you'll see different sections you can update—each focusing on a specific part of your listing.

Editing basic listing details

This is the foundation of your listing and what guests see first. You can update:

  • Listing title
  • Property description
  • Property type (shortlet, apartment, podcast space, etc.)
  • Location and address details
  • Guest capacity
  • Number of bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms

Pro tip: your description should answer this question — "Why should someone stay here?" Be clear, realistic, and highlight what makes your space unique.

Managing photos and visuals

Your photos are your biggest conversion tool. Bad photos mean fewer bookings. Inside the media section, you can:

  • Upload new images
  • Delete old or irrelevant ones
  • Reorder images (drag your best photo to the top)

Best practices

  • Use bright, well-lit images.
  • Show every room clearly.
  • Include bathroom, kitchen, and exterior shots.
  • Avoid filters that misrepresent the space.

Updating pricing and discounts

Your pricing strategy directly affects how often your place gets booked. You can edit your base nightly price, weekend pricing, cleaning fees, service charges, and weekly or monthly discounts.

Smart move: adjust your pricing based on demand—weekends, holidays, and peak seasons should not have the same price as weekdays.

Updating amenities and features

Amenities are a big deal for guests when choosing where to stay. You can update Wi-Fi availability, air conditioning, kitchen access, parking, TV, washing machine, and more. You can also include advanced features like smart locks, security systems, and backup power.

Editing house rules and policies

House rules help you avoid misunderstandings and protect your space. You can set or update check-in and check-out times, smoking policy, pet policy, party or event restrictions, and guest limits.

Why your edits may not show

If you've made changes but don't see them:

  • You didn't click Save Changes.
  • Your internet connection dropped.
  • The system is still processing your update.
  • The listing is under review.

Try refreshing the page or checking again after a few minutes.
