Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Traclet (“Traclet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), an end-to-end platform for short-term accommodation booking, on-demand services, and host management.

By accessing or using Traclet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts

3. Platform Role

Traclet operates as:

  • A marketplace intermediary between Guests, Hosts, and Service Providers

  • A payments facilitator (including escrow-style transactions)

  • A technology platform, not the owner of listed properties or services

We are not responsible for the actual delivery of stays or services.

4. Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Maintain account security

  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

5. Bookings & Reservations

Traclet supports:

  • Stay reservations

  • Party/event reservations

  • On-demand services

Key Conditions:

  • Reservations may require host approval

  • Pricing is dynamic and may change

  • Additional compliance rules may apply

6. Payments

  • Payments may be processed via third-party providers

  • Funds may be held in escrow until completion

  • Traclet may deduct:

    • Service fees

    • Platform commissions

Refunds & Cancellations:

  • Governed by host-defined policies

  • Traclet may intervene in disputes

7. User Responsibilities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the platform for illegal activities

  • Damage properties or abuse services

  • Circumvent payments outside Traclet

  • Abuse discounts or coupons

8. Listings & Services

Hosts and providers must:

  • Provide accurate listings

  • Maintain service quality

  • Comply with local laws

Traclet may remove listings at its discretion.

9. Ratings, Reviews & Analytics

  • Users may leave reviews

  • Traclet may generate AI-driven insights and summaries

  • These are provided “as-is” without guarantees

10. Financial System (Ledger & Transactions)

Traclet operates an internal ledger system:

  • All financial transactions are recorded immutably

  • Balances are derived from ledger entries

  • Errors may be corrected via reversal entries

11. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and software belong to Traclet.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute without permission.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • Required by law

  • Risk or abuse is detected

13. Disclaimers

Traclet is provided “as is”:

  • No guarantee of availability, accuracy, or reliability

  • No guarantee of service quality by hosts/providers

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Traclet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Liability is limited to fees paid within the last 12 months

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Traclet against:

  • Claims arising from your use

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Damage to property or third parties

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable regulations.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
